Tip: Be realistic, if you want luxury, fine dining, tons of amenities, a honeymoon suite and the best location, but you only have $200 a day to spend, you won't find it, even in some of the most affordable locations. A certain luxury and quality of hotel does come with a higher price tag, so weigh the importance of your hotel preferences.

It is difficult to decipher the reality of hotel quality in the midst of all the advertisements pressed on us. Each hotel looks like a paradise, but is this really what you'll receive? Many chains have a reputation for high quality or luxury resorts, which will usually stay consistent. This does not mean that there won't be bad experiences at even the best resorts. As for the chains who do not have a good reputation, it is hard to predict your experience. The best way to get an accurate picture of what the hotel is like is to do a lot of research and read reviews by other couples seeking a romantic setting.
