Best All Inclusive Honeymoon Resorts

The term all-inclusive can have many different meanings as to what is actually included in the nightly cost. It is important to read the fine print before booking an all-inclusive. Usually, this term signifies that the room, meals, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, sports equipment, taxes and gratuities are paid for. Some resorts include more than this, like scuba diving excursions and other excursions. But some fall short of what you would expect. But others make all inclusive honeymoons a dream come true!

Sometimes these resorts can get complaints about food quality, inadequate service and poor quality rooms. There are stories of long lines in order to get a drink, little in terms of variety for food and drinks, slow service... These can be problems that are not found as often at luxury hotels that charge for each meal and cocktail. Even with this said, many resort chains give great quality food, service and accommodations that reflects in their price.

Honeymooners rated these top 5 all-inclusive resort chains as their favorites:

  1. Couples
  2. Sandals
  3. Occidental
  4. Dreams
  5. RIU Resorts

Here is what newlyweds say about some of these all-inclusive resorts:

Couples Swept Away

"Couples Swept Away is an absolute paradise for honeymooners. From its Winding jungle paths to pristeen white sand beaches, it is amazing. The Staff is more than ready to make you feel right at home, filling your every request with no question. There are many tours included in your stay at CSA, and there are other tours that you can book for a fee. Included are things like: Glass Bottom Boat tour, Sunset Cruise w/ cliff jumping, hobie cats, snorkeling, etc. The Food is absolutely fantastic, I don't think my wife or I ate a bad meal our entire trip. They also offer morning room service delievering Coffee and pastries to your verrandah. The beverages are GREAT, they make amazing mixed drinks and there is always Red Stripe on tap! The room was an Oceanfront Verrandah, and it was equiped with King size bed, mini bar, tv, cd player alarm clock, full linens, and GREAT air conditioning." Honeymooners from Lockport, New York.

Sandals Royal Bahamian Resort & Spa

"We had the best time at SRB. The beach was crystal clear, the resort was pretty, the food was incredible, the service was excellent, our view was great, the drinks were outstanding and always waiting, the pool bar was the best, the private island was very cool, there were a lot of places to be alone besides your room, there were a ton of things to do besides sit around, but still very relaxing. We are still on cloud nine, and we are going back next year with another couple. I would recommend this resort to anyone who likes to eat, drink, and relax." Honeymooners from St. Louis, Missouri.

Occidental Grand Pineapple Beach

"Antigua was beautiful! It was everything we expected. Blue skies, clear blue ocean, white sand, palm trees and Pina Coladas! It was a true Caribbean romance. The resort was beautiful, intimate, and retained the character and charm of Caribbean architecture. It was clean and welcoming. The staff was very gracious and helpful. It was all-inclusive with buffet nights and sit down dinner nights. This was not your typical Sandals or Beaches resort. We didn't want to go to a huge resort. If you want a more intimate resort, then this place is for you. We had a wonderful, relaxing time and will go back." Honeymooner from Pomona, California

Breezes Montego Bay

"The honeymoon was magical. We had our dinner at their Italian restaurant in which is suburb. They made us feel very special the entire time. Every year we return it gets better and better. This resort is smaller, yes, but has just as much as the others also without the crowds and high traffic of people it makes for a homely type place. We feel it is our second home and always will be. Our advice is go. It’s amazing. Jamaica is beautiful." Honeymooners from Evansville, Indiana.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas

"This resort is gorgeous. It was like walking into a palace. They really paid attention to detail when constructing this hotel. The foyer is done in marble. The rooms are beautiful, furniture is all in dark mahogany. We had a bar with liquor dispensers in our room as well as a fridge that was stocked daily. The food was amazing. They have two giant size pools and we were quite happy to stay there and mingle with the rest of the tourists. I would like to go back again this year. Hopefully between Xmas and New Years."
