06/02/2007   To begin , the clouds drape over the nearby mountains every morning in late spring. The house-lights all over the mountains at night are beatiful also. The restaurants are mostly gems... St. Andrew's church is an amazing tribute to art and history as are all the churchs there. As for the Luna Convento hotel, WOW !Every room and suite has an ocean view, oppulant bathrooms, wonderful chefs and service on the oceanside restaurants.( Two of them) There is also a private pool built into the cliff and a private beach for snorkling and sunbathing. There are day-trips to Capri Island and Ana Capri (great for shopping for linens and local gifts and wine), and you you are very close to the towns of Positano, Revello, and Atrani. There are private drivers that will tour you around for 100 euros or so and give you local history highlights. The nightlife is brisk on the weekends (Club Africa) and more intimate during the week... Europe is crowded in general and this region is where many Europeans go to unwind. This is a perfect place for the beginning of the grand adventure of wedded bliss.... Congratulations to each of you no matter where you decide to celebrate... David and Dena Simpson
