Honeymooner's Paradise...A Hawaiian Dream

06/20/2007   When my husband and I arrived in Maui, Hawaii, we felt as if we were in paradise. From the moment we arrived at the Hyatt Hotel, we felt as if were were royalty. We were greated with leas, asked if anything else could be done to satisfy us. The concierg was wonderful! They booked every restaurant for us, every activity, and made terrific suggestions! The guest rooms were spotless. We had a spledid mountain/beach view with a great balcony. All the restaurants at the Hyatt were delicious and the wait stuff couldn't be more accomadating. The pool/beach were gorgeous. If you're looking for a honeymoon of a life time, the Hyatt in Hawaii is the place to be...you'll NEVER want to return home!

Maui Honeymoon with a nice stop in San Fran!

08/10/2006   If you are going to Hawaii and live on the east coast than this is the way to do a honeymoon. We had a wonderful layover for 3 nights in San Francisco and stayed at the Tuscan Inn by Best Western. It was nice not to have to take a 9 hour flight the day after our wedding...which was a big one. We landed with pleanty of time to see the sights and get used to the fishermans wharf area...the hotel is walking distance to the wharf. The staff where great and our travel agent Teri got us an amazing rate...so good the staff member commented on it. Champagne was waiting in the room as well as nice appointments. We loved the location best of all but the restaurant in the hotel was very good too...and we are food snobs. Next off to Hawaii...Maui...Kaanapali to be exact. We stayed at the Hyatt and it was so luxurious. If you want to be pampered and lounge around all day with amazing views than this is the hotel and island for you. We are a more active couple so we like the island of Oahu better but this was a nice change. The hotel has some good resaurants but very pricey. If you can get the breakfast built into the price of the package...DO IT...that was one meal we loved. Nice service and we got upgraded to a partial ocean view. The rooms are some of the lovelies I have ever stayed in and not small compared to many on Hawaii. Make sure to go to the BEACH! Isn't that why you went to Hawaii? We noticed most people stayed by the enormous pool but the beach is breathtaking. Enjoy!
