Maui Honeymoons
Mau'i is truly one of the world’s preferred honeymoon destinations. A lifetime of romantic memories awaits couples on this Hawaiian island paradise. Fragrant flowers, gentle trade winds and abundance of natural beauty also makes Maui a favorite for destination weddings. Once you are settled in to one of Maui’s exclusive resorts or a secluded Bed and Breakfast, you will want to explore this marvelous Hawaiian island. You might want to rent a car to take full advantage of all there is to offer. Paihi Bridge takes visitors to Hana to discover the pools of Oheo Gulch where you can relax in paradise. Deeply imbedded in geological and native Hawaiian history, a tour around this island will captivate you and your spouse with its native charms and extraordinary beauty.
Maui honeymoons are truly a luxury experience with some of the the best golf and spa resorts on the islands! Experience a romantic vacation on Maui by finding a beautiful, secluded beach.
Hidden beaches with contrasting hues of snow white to black sand are the special qualities, which make Maui a newlywed's paradise. Spending a perfect relaxing day lying on Maui’s many enticing beaches is not like any other. With its pure, clear waters and white sand beaches, just sunbathing can be a delightful way for the two of you to spend the day.
For ocean lovers, you will find every conceivable opportunity to indulge yourselves in Maui. Enjoy the water as a couple with snorkeling, scuba diving, sailing or riding a catamaran. Great waves await you if are into surfing or boogie boarding. Jump on board jet-skis or go windsurfing. Whales and dolphins are plentiful around Maui and can be seen year round.  Whale and dolphin sightseeing excursions are readily available and the best time to go sightseeing is July and August. In the evening, sundowner evening cruises are popular from just cocktails to full course dinner trips.
Land adventures include a trip to Haleakala National Park or the 11-mile summit drive around Kilauea Volcano via Crater Rim Drive. In addition to encircling the summit caldera, this scenic drive will take you by the Ka`u Desert and through a tropical rain forest.  If you hike, take your boots since access to trails is available. Rent a mountain bike and take a breathtaking ride down the side of Haleakala volcano all the way to the sea. We also suggest if you are going to spend all day, you might want to stay the night nearby at Kula Lodge.  Not fancy, but a romantic place for newlyweds for a night. Maui’s Hawaii Nature Center and the Alexander & Baldwin Sugar Museum are well worth your time. There are also plenty of golf courses to keep you busy!
Shopping is a fun and exciting outing on Maui. Native art is of high quality on Maui, and if you need a larger dose of culture, check out the Maui Arts & Cultural Center for daytime exhibits and nighttime events.  History thrives here. Music, films, dance and theater are all performed at their finest. A honeymoon on Maui is not complete without participation in one of the island’s magnificent Luaus, to some, the best in the islands.  Although the Hyatt Regency is one noted destination for newlyweds to take in the food and show at its best, free shows put on by some of the island’s most talented dancers can be had at both the Queen Kaahumanu Center in Wailuku and at the Lahaina Cannery Mall.
Maui romantic honeymoons are perfect with a private dinner on the beach or in your own cabana and perhaps a couple’s massage. Maui luxury resorts are known for the first-class quality and diversity of their spa treatments.
